Computer KIT Mini
A self-assembly computer built from reconditioned components. The concept is straightforward: offer an accessible, hands-on assembly experience that enables anyone to understand how computers actually work. But this project goes beyond education. By handling reused parts, users confront the environmental cost of electronics and discover tangible alternatives to planned obsolescence and throwaway culture.

A new way to make computers
A simplified assembly system that lets users build their own computer in just a few intuitive steps—a learn-by-doing experience comparable to assembling IKEA furniture, but with deeper educational value and environmental purpose.

Pedagogical packaging
Each upcycled component arrives in educational packaging that explains both its technical function and the environmental resources required to manufacture it—connecting abstract concepts to tangible realities.

Everyday Integration
Beyond its prototype phase, ComputerKIT Mini is designed to integrate seamlessly into everyday environments. The project earned an Honorable Mention at WantedDesign's Conscious Design Award 2022 for its social impact, recognizing its contribution to sustainable design education.
